A 24-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon in Milton.
It happened around 4:20 p.m. at the intersection of S. Airport Road at Beneva Road.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist — a 24-year-old Milton man — was traveling north on S. Airport Rd., approaching the intersection with Beneva Rd.
A 53-year-old Milton woman was traveling south on S. Airport Rd. in her sedan and attempted to turn left onto Beneva Rd. — which is when the two vehicles collided at the intersection.
The 24-year-old motorcyclist — who was not wearing a helmet — was thrown from the bike. He sustained serious injuries and was flown to a local trauma center.
The Milton woman was not injured.
