Broward County deputies investigated a double shooting in Deerfield Beach late Thursday afternoon.
The shooting happened just before 5 p.m. in the 100 block of Southwest Third Street, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The two victims, identified as males, were taken to area hospitals. Deputies said one went to the hospital himself while the other was taken by ambulance; the latter had non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities didn’t specify their ages.
Deputies said Thursday evening that the “circumstances surrounding this incident remain under investigation” and haven’t announced any arrests or a possible motive.
