Man dies after being struck by two vehicles in Escambia County

A man has died after being hit by two vehicles on Wednesday night.

A 71-year-old Molino man driving a pickup truck and a 62-year-old Cantonment woman driving a car were both traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 29 in the area of West 9 1/2 Mile Road.

A man wearing dark clothing was crossing the roadway while it was raining and there was no artificial light in the area.

The Molino man and Cantonment woman did not see him and could not react in time causing them both to strike him with their vehicles.

Both drivers had no injuries.

No further details have been released.
