ORDER DENYING PLAINTIFF’S MOTION TO AMEND COMPLAINT TO CORRECT SCRIVENER’S ERROR/MISNOMER

THIS CAUSE came before the Court on November 14, 2014, on Plaintiff’s Motion to Amend Complaint to Correct Scrivener’s Error/Misnomer, and, after considering the written filings submitted thereto, reviewing the file, hearing argument of counsel, and otherwise being fully advised in the premises, it is hereby:

ORDERED AND ADJUDGED, as follows:

1. Plaintiff’s Motion to Amend Complaint to Correct Scrivener’s Error/Misnomer is DENIED.

2. Plaintiff cannot Amend its Complaint to name an “entirely new party” other than that named in the caption of this action. See Tannenbaum Chiropractic, Inc. d/b/a Cities Orthopaedic Group a/a/o Deborah French v. State Farm Mut. Auto. Ins. Co., 10 Fla. L. Weekly Supp. 478b (Fla. 13th Cir. Ct. 2003).
