ORDER ON PLAINTIFF’S MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF
TIME TO RESPOND TO DEFENDANT’S
PROPOSAL FOR SETTLEMENT
This cause, having come before the Court on Plaintiff’s Motion for Extension of Time to Respond to Defendant’s Proposal for Settlement, the Court having reviewed the motion and entire Court file, read relevant legal authority, heard argument from counsel of each party, and been sufficiently advised in the premises, finds as follows:
As per Rule 1.090(b) of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, when an act is required or allowed to be done at or within a specified time. . .the Court may enlarge the period if the request is made before the expiration of the period originally prescribed.
Therefore, it is ORDERED and ADJUDGED that Plaintiff’s Motion for Extension of Time to Respond to Defendant’s Proposal for Settlement is hereby GRANTED. The Plaintiff shall have an extension of thirty (30) days from the date the Defendant files its Answer.
