A Seagrove Beach restaurant was damaged after it caught fire early Thursday morning.

According to the South Walton Fire District, they received a call around 2:30 a.m. related to smoke coming from Angelina’s Pizzeria and Pasta located on County Highway 30A.

Fire officials said when they arrived, they saw smoke coming from the business. Firefighters fought the blaze for a few hours, later extinguishing the fire and assisting the property owners.

No one was injured, fire officials confirmed.

As of 7 a.m., crews have cleared the scene and State Fire Marshals Office is handling the investigation of the incident. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

A statement shared by Angelina’s Pizza & Pasta:

Unfortunately our beloved family restaurant, Angelinas, was subject to a major fire in the early hours of Thursday, Sept 12. We are fully dedicated to rebuild our cherished establishment as quickly and efficiently as we possible can. We will miss our friendly customers and all the familiar faces that have made Angelinas such a wonderful place to unwind, dine, and especially to work. Your continued support has made us what we are today, and for that we are fully grateful

We will be working hard behind the scenes to get back to serving 30a and its outlying areas as quickly as possible. Until then stay happy and safe, and we cannot wait to see all of you again ❤️

A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Angelina’s staff after the devastating fire.
