Two people are dead after two different crashes in North Central Florida, at least one the result of wet roads.
Troopers say a 20-year-old driver from Lake City was traveling on I-10 just east of the I-75 interchange around 6 o’clock this evening.
They say the driver lost control due to rainy conditions and poor tires on his car, sending him over a culvert and flipping over the vehicle.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
And a 73-year-old driver was killed after his vehicle crashed in Marion County.
FHP troopers say the vehicle went off baseline road just south of NE 24th Street.
They say the vehicle then went into the nearby woods, crashing into a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
