A woman is wanted following a five-vehicle wreck Thursday afternoon on Lillian Highway in Escambia County.
It happened around 1:30 p.m. on Lillian Highway at Bauer Road.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 32-year-old Foley woman was driving her pickup truck east on Lillian Highway as three other vehicles were stopped in traffic. A fifth vehicle was traveling west on Lillian Highway.
FHP says the Foley woman’s pickup truck collided with the rear of a stopped vehicle, causing a chain reaction. Her truck then crossed over the eastbound lane colliding with the fifth vehicle.
The truck then went off the roadway and collided with a fence.
The Foley woman suffered minor injuries, along with three other drivers — a 55-year-old Lillian woman, a 70-year-old Lillian woman and a 59-year-old Jacksonville woman.
Prior to a trooper’s arrival at the hospital, FHP says the 32-year-old woman left on foot.
“A warrant will be issued for her arrest,” FHP says.
No further details were released.
