1 airlifted to hospital after driver crashes car into pole in northwest Miami-Dade

One person was airlifted to a hospital’s trauma center Monday morning after a driver crashed his or her vehicle into a pole in northwest Miami-Dade, first responders confirmed to Local 10 News.

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue officials, the crash was reported in the area of Northwest 67^th Avenue and 202^nd Street.

Miami-Dade deputies and Miramar police officers responded to the scene.

Video taken by Local 10 shows extensive front-end damage to the Kia after the crash as the front passenger-side tire was dislodged from the vehicle.

There was minimal impact to traffic in the area after the single-vehicle crash.

No other details were immediately released.
