A man is now under arrest, weeks after a late-night shooting outside a Boca Raton restaurant left two people hurt. The Boca Raton Police Department announced on Thursday that an arrest was made after a shooting unfolded just after 12:30 a.m. on May 25 outside The Standard Cuisine & Cocktails on Southeast Mizner Boulevard. At the time, officers were called out for reports of gunfire, finding two victims with gunshot wounds and a suspect who had already run off. Investigators now say that the suspect is 24-year-old C from Lantana.

An 85-year-old woman was fatally struck by a truck pulling a trailer in Seminole on Thursday. The crash happened on Bellewood Avenue North near 136th Street North at 10:15 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
