A pedestrian was airlifted to a nearby hospital after a hit-and-run crash in Brooksville on Wednesday night.
Hernando County Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian crash on northbound I-75 at the 297 milemarker around 11 p.m.
HCFR said the pedestrian was airlifted to a local trauma center as a trauma alert.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the hit-and-run.
