1 dead, 1 injured in ‘landlord tenant dispute’ shooting in Orlando, police say.

 One person was killed and another was injured in a landlord vs. tenant shooting in Orlando on March 28, police said. 

The shooting happened at around 11 a.m. in the 800 block of Dorado Avenue, according to the Orlando Police Department. Police said two subjects showed up to the Dorado Avenue residents armed and ready to settle a “landlord tenant dispute.” An argument ensued that resulted in both subjects being shot by the tenant. 

One person was pronounced dead on the scene. He was identified as 40-year-old Angel Luis Santos. The other person was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second subject’s identity has not been revealed. 

Joel Santos Garcia was arrested on April 29, according to an update from the Orlando Police Department. He was charged with second degree felony murder and burglary of a dwelling with a firearm.  

No other details were released.
