1 dead, 1 injured in Orlando shooting, police say

ORLANDO, Fla. – One person was killed and another was injured in a landlord vs. tenant shooting in Orlando on Thursday morning, police said.

The shooting happened at around 11 a.m. in the 800 block of Dorado Avenue, according to the Orlando Police Department. Police two subjects showed up to the Dorado Avenue residents armed and ready to settle a “landlord tenant dispute.” An argument ensued that resulted in both subjects being shot by the tenant. 

One person was pronounced dead on the scene. He was identified as 40-year-old Angel Luis Santos. The other person was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The second subject’s identity has not been revealed. 

Police said they are not looking for any suspects, as all parties involved have been identified.
