A driver is dead after a crash involving a semi-truck on Interstate 95 northbound Tuesday morning in Melbourne, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 6 a.m. near mile marker 191 in Melbourne.
According to FHP, the crash involved a 2017 Dodge Journey and a 2015 Mack semi tractor-trailer. The driver of the Dodge Journey was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver has not yet been identified.
All northbound lanes of I-95 were blocked at mile marker 191 but have since reopened.
