One person is dead after a golf cart crash on North Captiva Island on Thursday night.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a golf cart crash near Cutlass Drive.
LCSO said the crash was a single-occupant rollover crash and that the occupant had died.
LCSO is actively investigating the crash and awaiting results from the medical examiner.
