One person was killed after a multi-vehicle crash on Florida’s Turnpike in Hollywood on Saturday, fire rescue said.
According to Hollywood Fire Rescue, the crash happened in both directions on the Turnpike over Taft Street, where several vehicles were involved.
At the scene, crews checked on four people, and one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Fire Rescue said one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their identity has not been released.
The Florida Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation.
