1 dead in 2 vehicle Port Orange crash, police say

The Port Orange Police Department responded to a crash on Wednesday that has left one person dead.

Police said the crash in the area of S. Williamson Boulevard, south of the intersection of Town West Boulevard, involved two vehicles.

The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene by Port Orange Fire Department personnel.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

POPD said the Traffic Homicide Unit is actively investigating the crash.
