1 dead, teen seriously injured in Ormond Beach crash, troopers say

The Florida Highway Patrol said on Thursday night it is investigating a crash that left one man dead and a teen seriously injured in Ormond Beach.

The crash occurred on Granada Boulevard east of Shadow Crossings Blvd, Troopers say.

The crash involved a 2021 Ford F-150 and a 2015 GMC Sierra.

The man driving the Ford was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the GMC was a 16-year-old man from Ormond Beach who was transported to Halifax Medical Center with serious injuries.

Troopers say there’s currently a roadblock in both directions of travel on State Road 40 (Granada Blvd.).
