(Provided by St. Johns County Fire Rescue)

A driver was ejected in a fiery crash that shut down I-95 southbound between International Golf Parkway and State Road 16 on Saturday, according to St. Johns County Fire Rescue.

When firefighters arrived, the vehicle was engulfed in flames, and the person had to be taken to a trauma center. They were last listed in serious but stable condition.

Because of reports that there might have been another person in the vehicle, fire crews used a drone to search the surrounding area, but no one else was found.

This is a developing story. News4JAX will update when we get more information from the Florida Highway Patrol.
