1 extricated from 3-vehicle collision on NW 39th Avenue

Emergency responders extricated one person from a three-vehicle collision on NW 39th Avenue in Gainesville on Friday night.

According to an Alachua County Fire Rescue (ACFR) release, multiple units responded to the 9200 block of NW 39th Avenue at 8:12 p.m. for a three-vehicle crash.

An occupant in one of the vehicles was pinned and firefighters extricated the person using hydraulic rescue tools. The person was removed and transported to a local hospital for evaluation. The patient was reportedly in stable condition.

No one else was injured in the crash. Alachua County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Highway Patrol personnel investigated the accident.
