One person was hospitalized after a shooting in Tarpon Springs Tuesday morning, police said.
The Tarpon Springs Police Department responded to the 100 block of West Lime Street around 12:4 a.m. in regards to an attempted burglary where shots were fired.
Officers arrived at the scene and found two people who were known to each other.
One person was shot and taken to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said there is no threat to the public.
