Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in Brandon that left one person hospitalized Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters received calls of smoke and fire in a bedroom at a home around 2:50 p.m. on Timber Pond Drive, Fire Rescue said in a news release.
Crews reportedly advanced hose lines into the house and were able to extinguish the fire after 10 minutes. No one was found inside the home during a search, according to Fire Rescue.
All occupants of the home were accounted for after the fire and one person was taken to the hospital in stable condition, firefighters said.
Investigators are now working to determine what caused the fire.
