On Monday afternoon, a house fire erupted off Davis Boulevard near Terrace Avenue and Shadowlawn Drive in East Naples.
According to Greater Naples Fire Rescue, crews saw flames coming from the home. Officials said the first engine on the scene focused on the fire and the second engine began a primary search.
While firefighters searched, they found a person and were able to remove them from the structure.
Greater Naples Fire Rescue said the person was transported to a local hospital.
Gulf Coast News is working to learn the current condition of that person.
The state fire marshal and Greater Naples Fire Rescue are investigating the cause of the fire.
