1 hospitalized after Orange County house fire

One person was injured late Wednesday when a house caught fire in Orange County, officials said.

The fire broke out at a home on Meridian Way in Pine Hills.

Orange County Fire Rescue said crews arrived to find flames shooting through the roof of the home.

“During the search of the structure, a (patient) was found,” OCFR said.

The victim was taken to a hospital, officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
