One person is hospitalized after a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, the Pinellas Park Police Department announced.
Officers responded to a crash in the area of 49th Street North and Ulmerton Road.
The pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to officers, the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with investigators. At this time, no criminal charges are expected.
Speed and impairment do not appear to be factors in the crash, Pinellas Park police said.
Traffic delays are expected in the area.
