1 hospitalized following Palm Harbor house fire

One person was hospitalized after a fire broke out at a Palm Harbor home on Monday afternoon.

According to Palm Harbor Fire Rescue, the fire occurred at a home on 13 Citrus Drive. When crews arrived, smoke was coming from all four sides of the home.

PHFR was able to quickly knock the fire down, containing the blaze to the garage. Three adults were displaced as a result, officials said.

The adult was hospitalized for smoke inhalation symptoms. Their condition is unknown at this time.

According to PHFR, the cause of the fire remains under investigation, and the Red Cross has been contacted to help the victims.
