Pensacola Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday Morning on West Gadsden Street.
It happened around 6 a.m.
Pensacola Police said officers in the area heard the sound of gunfire. The gunfire also triggered the city’s ShotSpotter system and provided officers with an exact location.
Officers arrived at the home on the 800 block of West Gadsden Street where they found one adult struck by gunfire.
Police said the person’s injuries are non life-threatening. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Officers have no suspect information at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
