One person was injured Monday afternoon when a pickup truck became engulfed in flames in Winter Haven, according to police.
The fire broke out around 1:05 p.m. near The Splash Pad and The Garden Center on Third Street NW.
Firefighters responded and got the fire under control by 1:30 p.m., police said, but the vehicle ended up being a total loss.
One person was injured and taken to the hospital to be treated.
No other information was released.
