One person is dead after being hit by an SUV along U.S. 41 in Charlotte County.
The crash happened in Port Charlotte near Gardner Drive.
The Florida Highway Patrol says it happened around 11 p.m. Saturday.
Troopers say a 36-year-old driver was trying to turn left onto Conway Boulevard when he hit and killed another man.
The identity of the 57-year-old who was killed is still unknown.
