One person died after a crash on Wednesday that involved three vehicles, troopers said.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place around 6:58 p.m.
A 61-year-old woman driving a Nissan SUV was traveling east on SR-54. At the intersection of Riverrun Road, the SUV turned left into the path of a Yamaha motorcycle that was traveling west on SR-54 in the center lane.
Upon impact, FHP said that the driver of the motorcycle, a 50-year-old Holiday man, was ejected from the vehicle and flung into the path of a Toyota Corolla that was on the inside lane.
According to FHP, the motorcyclist died at the scene while the driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Toyota was unharmed in the crash.
