One person was burned and two dogs were killed Saturday morning in an Orlando house fire, according to fire officials.

The Orlando Fire Department said firefighters responded before 8 a.m. to a home in the 1200 block of Polk St.

While firefighters were able to put out the fire, officials said two dogs died and one person was taken to the hospital for burn injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
