One person is in the hospital after crashing their vehicle on I-75 in Alachua County early Tuesday morning.
According to Alachua County Fire Rescue, crews responded to a vehicle accident on I-75 at mile marker 378 just before 6 a.m. Crews found a vehicle heavily damaged off the highway into the tree line.
ACFR officials had to use the jaws of life to rescue the driver from the vehicle. The driver was taken to Shands hospital.
