A person died after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday following gunshots at a club in Winter Haven.
According to the public information officer, early Sunday morning, Winter Haven police responded to multiple shots fired into the air outside of Kulture, located at 1780 First Street N.
The PIO said that no gunshot victims have been found; however, when the shots were fired, the crowd dispersed.
The PIO said that during this time, one individual was struck and killed by a vehicle.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is handling the traffic fatality, while the Winter Haven Police Department continues to investigate other elements of the incident.
No further details have been released at this time.
