1 stabbed at El Cubano Restaurant in Immokalee, suspect in custody

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after one person was stabbed at El Cubano Restaurant on Saturday evening.

Deputies say they received reports of a stabbing at 205 W Main Street around 9:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies say they found a bouncer for the restaurant with stab wounds before taking him to the hospital as a trauma alert. There have been no updates on the victim’s condition at this time.

The suspect, identified as Sergio Martinez, 50 , was taken into custody, according to CCSO.

Martinez if facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and obstruction of an officer, per documents.
