A one-year-old died in a crash on I-4 Friday morning near Seffner, the Florida Highway Patrol announced.
Officials responded to the crash around 1:22 a.m.
According to FHP, a Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 21-year-old Englewood woman was traveling eastbound on I-4 behind a Toyota RAV4, driven by a 30-year-old Dundee woman when the Cherokee hit the back of the RAV4.
Both drivers of the vehicles suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Along with the driver of the RAV4, a 34-year-old woman was in the car, and a three-year-old boy, a six-year-old girl, and a one-year-old girl.
All three children were taken to a nearby hospital, where the one-year-old died from her injuries.
The two other children were listed with non-life-threatening injuries, according to FHP.
