NORTH PORT, Fla. —
North Port police and fire crews responded to the scene of a pedestrian trapped under a vehicle on Wednesday morning.
According to the North Port Police Department, officers, as well as crews from North Port Fire Rescue, responded to the scene at Cranberry Boulevard and Ridley Lane for a crash involving a pedestrian.
Once on scene, officers noted that the pedestrian was trapped under the vehicle.
The pedestrian, a 17-year-old, was flown to an area hospital due to injuries.
Cranberry Boulevard was closed down at the time of the crash but has since reopened.
