A 17-year-old is hospitalized after his pickup truck overturned off of a small bridge in Cantonment on Monday.
It happened around 12:45 p.m. on East Kingsfield Road near County Road 297A.
Florida Highway Patrol says a 17-year-old Cantonment boy lost control of his black Toyota pickup truck and overturned off the bridge into a ditch.
Escambia County Fire Rescue and EMS responded, along with FHP.
A medical helicopter arrived and transported the 17-year-old to the hospital with serious injuries.
No one else was in the vehicle.
FHP says an investigation is ongoing.
