A man was arrested after Gainesville Police Department officers say he attacked another man in his home with a sword while children watched.
Officers arrested BO, 18, on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and child abuse.
According to the arrest report, O attacked a 37-year-old man in their shared home. He reportedly kicked and punched the victim before pulling out a sword.
The victim was unsure if he was actually hit with the sword; however, he had a cut on his leg when officers arrived, and witnesses say he was hit with the weapon.
Two children were watching as O attacked the victim. He admitted to deputies that the children could’ve been hurt as he swung the blade.
