18-year-old Niceville woman critically injured after being ejected from vehicle

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — A 18-year-old Niceville woman is in critical condition after being ejected from her vehicle following a crash in Okaloosa County early Monday morning.

The crash happened on State Road 85 and General Robert M. Bond Boulevard at around 12:30 a.m.

Florida Highway Patrol says a black Volvo sedan, driven by the 18-year-old, was attempting to make a turn but headed off-road and struck a dirt embankment.

The collision caused the driver to be ejected from the vehicle. She was then taken by EMS to Fort Walton Beach Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
