A teen has been hospitalized in Boynton Beach after an intoxicated driver hit them over the weekend.
According to Boynton Beach police, the driver lost control and traveled onto the grass area where the 19-year-old was standing.
The driver was later arrested for driving under the influence.
The teen was initially transported as a trauma alert but did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.
They are expected to have a full recovery.
