2 20-year-olds dead in Pasco County motorcycle crash

Two people were killed Wednesday evening in a motorcycle crash in Pasco County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at about 5:40 p.m. in the area of Mile Stretch Drive and Arcadia Road in Holiday.

Troopers said a 20-year-old Holiday man was driving a motorcycle at a high speed along Mile Stretch Drive when a sedan turned left in front of it at the intersection of Arcadia Road.

Both the 20-year-old motorcycle driver and the passenger, a 20-year-old Lutz women, were killed in the crash, according to FHP. The driver of the sedan was taken to a hospital and is expected to be OK.

No other details about the crash were immediately available.
