A 2-alarm fire shut down traffic to St. Armands Circle in Sarasota on Thursday.
Sarasota County emergency crews were called to the 300 block of John Ringling Blvd. at around 11:40 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
Traffic is being diverted at North Washington Drive and North Adams Drive, but officials said that may change as additional units arrive. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
