Two people are dead, and one person was injured after a structure fire occurred in Sebring late Wednesday night.
According to the Sebring Fire Department (SFD), firefighters responded to a manufactured home on Jeri Kay Lane at 11:22 p.m. following reports of heavy smoke and flames.
Firefighters arrived on the scene and had water on the fire in less than two minutes.
Despite these efforts, two people were pronounced dead at the scene. A family pet was also lost in the fire, SFD said.
Crews found a third person outside of the home, who was airlifted to a regional trauma center due to their injuries.
SFD said crews stayed on scene for several hours conducting overhaul operations and assisting the State Fire Marshal detectives.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
