2 dead after house fire in Miami-Dade’s Brownsville area

Two people died during a house fire on Friday morning in Miami-Dade County’s Brownsville neighborhood.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded to the house near the 1900 block of Northwest 53 Street. Two died after cardiac arrest, according to fire rescue.

Fire rescue personnel took a third person injured to a nearby hospital as a trauma alert.

Detectives asked anyone with information about this or other cases to call Miami-Dade County Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
