Two dogs died after a residential structure fire Saturday night in Bonita Landing, according to crews from the Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District.
Crews responded to the fire at around 5 p.m. at the 1600 block of Bonita Landing Circle.
Firefighters say that no people were injured and that they tried to resuscitate the dogs and treated them with oxygen. They ultimately died from smoke inhalation.
