Two people were taken to the hospital Tuesday night after their vehicles collided on the Dolphin Expressway in Doral, troopers said.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened on the eastbound lanes of State Road 836 in the area of Northwest 87th Avenue.
Troopers said that a blue Corvette collided with a white Volkswagen SUV, which caused the vehicles to crash into a concrete median barrier.
Video at the scene shows the Corvette smashed with severe front-end damage.
The two drivers were taken to the hospital under unknown conditions.
Troopers said the roadway was closed for about two hours but has since reopened.
