2 hospitalized after stabbing in Clearwater, officers say

Two people were hospitalized after a double stabbing in Clearwater early Thursday morning.

According to the Clearwater Police Department, officers responded to the 1300 block of Cleveland Street in regards to a stabbing around 1:30 a.m.

One victim was located at 1501 Gulf to Bay Boulevard and was taken to the hospital.

Another victim was located at the 300 block of Jefferson Avenue and was taken to the hospital.

According to CPD, two people got into a verbal dispute before it turned physical.

During the fight, both people sustained stab wounds.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Another victim was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to officers.
