Trouble on the water sends two men to the hospital after a pair of personal watercraft collided.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, crews responded Thursday to reports of two Jet Skis crashing into each other on the water at the Miami Marine Stadium along the Rickenbacker Causeway.

“Traumatic injuries at Marine Stadium,” according to audio on Broadcastify.
7Skyforce hovered over the scene where crews could be seen offloading both patients from a fireboat and into the back of an ambulance.
Two Yamaha Jet Skis could be seen docked near the first responders.
MDFR said both victims, men in their 40s, were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in critical but stable condition.
“We’re going to need another rescue here at the marine stadium to transport a patient to the trauma center,” was heard over the Broadcastify police scanner.
7News cameras captured the ambulance arriving at the hospital where one of those men was rushed inside.
A spokesperson for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission released a statement regarding the collision:
“Preliminary information indicates two personal watercraft, each carrying two males, were traveling in the waters north of the Rickenbacker Causeway when they collided. Two of the victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries. This is an active investigation, and no further information is available at this time. A full report will be available by public records request once it is complete.”
FWC investigators remained at the scene to try to determine what led up to the crash.
Authorities said the two men appeared to be in good spirits upon arrival to the hospital.
