2 in critical condition after house fire in Port Orange

Two people are in critical condition after a house fire early Saturday in Port Orange, according to the city.

Port Orange firefighters and police responded around 3:30 a.m. to a structure fire reported on Nash Lane, where they located the two victims and took them to the hospital, a news release states.

The State Fire Marshal’s office was still investigating the cause of the fire as of around noon Saturday, according to the release.
