2 in custody after hit-and-run crash in Hendry County

Two people are in custody after a hit-and-run crash in Hendry County on Wednesday.

According to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are on the scene of an active hit-and-run crash investigation that occurred at the exit ramp in the area of State Road 80 and southbound U.S. Route 27.

No injuries have been reported, HCSO said.

HCSO said that while there are no roadblocks in the area, drivers should use caution when driving through the area. The outside lane of US-27 at the intersection of South US-27 and Airglades Boulevard.

HCSO said deputies currently have two people in custody.

HCSO said it will provide updates as they become available.
